We’ve all had a rough year. Most of us have been immobile; either working from home or virtually jobless. Zari, just like many humans on this planet, has obviously put on significant weight.
Mama Dangote couldn’t help but notice the gain. This is right after she jetted into Tanzania to see Diamond. The visit was marked as a co-parenting session. Diamond had said that he was too tired to travel, so Zari had no option but to visit him.
To which Zari responded in a classy way, like the boss lady she is.
“Sana, lock down, tumefungiwa miezi tano, umesahau. Ndani miezi mitano. Tunakula, tunalala, hamna hata kutoka. Kila dakika mbili, fridge, mnapika, mnakula. Nimenenepa hatari,” she said.
This was a reminder to Mama Dangote that lockdown got people gaining weight. Zari said that she was indoors for five months. All she did was eat and sleep. To put it in context, she said that every two minutes, she was looking for something to eat in the fridge. Basically, she acknowledged the weight gain. Zari and Diamond had a nostalgic moment at the airport, hugging tightly. They then went on to shower their social media fans with photos of them co-parenting and having a good time.
