If you claim to be a fan of Kenyan music today, then chances are that you fully agree that among the remaining few Singer/Songwriters, who have majored in secular music, Nadia Mukami tops the list.

The 26-year old mother of one managed to read the audiences and shortly after she launched her music career gave us her first hit and she has never looked back since.

Nadia is one of the artists who, despite the demands on the industry, chose to keep their original name as opposed to adopting a stage name.

But who exactly is Nadia, aside from her perfect celebrity life, what Don’t we know about the brazen lass? This article aims to give you a 360 degree view of this superstar.

Nadia Mukami’s Age 

The “Radio Love” hitmaker was born in Pumwani Hospital in Nairobi on November 9, 1996 and as of the date of writing this article (May 2022)  is 26-years-old.

For a long time, the superstar spent a lot of time and energy trying to brush away claims that she was dating fellow star musician Ali Yusuf, famously known as Arrow Bwoy.

The two, whose relationship became known to the public after close to two years since the rumors begun, announced that they were engaged in March 2022.

The two stars took to social media in April 2022 to announce that they had been blessed with a baby boy.

In the birth announcement Nadia stated that the boy’s name is Haseeb Kai, her love for him led her to write and release a song about her baby boy.

Arrow Bwoy on the other hand could not hide his joy as he was giving the information to the public through his social media accounts, he went ahead to state that both the baby and his mother were in good health.

Nadia went to Kari Mwailu Primary school after which she went to Mount Laverna School where she excelled in her studies before she was admitted to Maseno University for a bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Nadia's first song, Barua Ya Siri, was written and recorded in 2015. Her second song, Kesi, was a watershed event for her; it grew in popularity and became a hit. It enabled her to perform at many Kenyan platforms, including Blaze, The Nile Festival, The Luo Festival, and others.

In February 2019, Nadia released the song "Radio Love" with Arrow Bwoy. Her breakthrough came with this song. It received widespread coverage in Kenyan media and was broadcast on numerous radio and television stations around the country.

Nadia parted ways with her management company, "Hailemind Entertainment," in 2019. Her song "Radio Love" received two Pulse Music Video Awards the following year (PMVA). She was one of the performers who represented Kenya at Coke Studio Africa in 2019.

Nadia released "Nitekenye" in early 2020, which included Kenyan Gengetone musical group "Sailors."
