We’re not sure whether Safaricom has actually endorsed the video but from the looks of it, a big endorsement is coming his way.
Ikwara first came into the limelight when people from all over the world remixed his dance to the song Love by Kendrick Lamar ft Zacari. The dance went viral than any other and received so much love from people across the world.
Ikwara has become so famous that he appeared on The Trend, a show on NTV that features artists and celebrities. He has also received support from celebrities such as supported by Willis Raburu, Flaqo, Edgar Obare and Mulamwah who have shared his videos with their followers.
Other Tik Tokers have also supported his work by collaborating with Kelvin on the many videos that he posts on both Tik Tok and Instagram.
Though an entertainer, Kelvin is employed and also says he has a side hustle as an emcee.
He was also featured on one of America's top-notch Gossip Instagram page, The Shade Room. The page posted Ikwara’s video while dancing to the song and left many Americans laughing and posting comments on how the Kenyan guy was really talented and could go places if he kept entertaining them like that.
He is now the second Kenyan creator to receive hype from people overseas, apart from Elsa Majimbo who has now become a worldwide star.
Could Kelvin be headed in the same direction as Elsa? We can only hope and pray for the best for him due to his dedication and creativity.
