Tedd Josiah Says Being A Mother Is Tough

As the world joined to celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday, music producer Tedd Josiah took time to reflect on his parenting journey since the demise of his wife Reginah Katar in 2017.

Tedd noted that motherhood is not easy now that he has he was forced to be the mother of his daughter Jameela Wendo after her mother passed.

The legendary producer noted that even though motherhood isn't easy, the little hugs a mother gets from their children are the reward they get for their hard work.

Tedd who said that he values mothers for he has walked their journey noted that at no point in his life did he plan to be the mother of his daughter. He said he was forced to be a mother by the circumstances.

Tedd's wife died while their daughter was only three mothers old and since then he has been both the father and the mother of her daughter.

"I value you cause I have walked a mile in your shoes and though my life plan had never been to become a mother to a 3-month-old, I had no option but to become the mother," Tedd said.

As he wished mothers, dead or alive, a happy Mother's Day, Tedd also wished his late wife to continue resting in peace.

"Every mother wants to be there for their children until their children are very very grown, no mother wants to leave their child as an infant cause they know the child won’t get motherly love. To all those whose moms are in heaven, to those whose babies are in heaven, those who are still trying to be moms, those who are having a tough relationship with their moms, those who are praying to be moms, and those who are moms," he said.
