More and more people have been testing positive lately days after the government announced the infection curve had stabilized.

KBC news anchor Purity Museo is the latest celebrity to test positive for the virus in its second wave.

Purity announced to her fans through social media that she was forced to take the test after feeling sick.

According to the news anchor, she tested positive at a time she did not expect.
Purity disclosed to fans that she is not in bad shape and has been isolated as she takes medication.

''Hello fam Been having headache, fever, body pain and lack of smell since Sunday evening. Decided to test for COVID-19 and the results came out last evening POSITIVE. I am on medication/isolation at home following doctor’s advice. Keep me in your prayers and stay safe'' she wrote.

This comes just days after she revealed she was once a househelp before the fame and money.

In a social media post seen by this site, the lass said she was forced to work as a househelp in Mtwapa, Mombasa so that she could raise money for her college fees.

The news anchor shared her story to encourage young people who think they cannot amount to anything due to the many challenges they are facing presently.
