Nameless has finally broken his silence and it’s not what we were expecting!

In the past few weeks, rumours started going around that Nameless had forced Wahu to not do gospel music.

However, as it turns out Nameless was misinterpreted when he advised his wife Wahu on her shift to the gospel genre.

In an episode of the couple’s reality show ‘This Love’ Wahu revealed that Nameless was disappointed when she decided to start doing gospel and brand herself that.

“He was like ‘what if you do gospel today and later you want to do other genres?” explained Wahu.

This statement has, however, been blown out of proportion with people insinuating that Nameless had stopped his wife to stay in the secular genre.

However, what most people didn’t pick up was the fact that Nameless explained further in the reality show that he told Wahu to not announce it.

“I was like you don’t have to say you sing gospel, just say you are saved. I told her I think you are just excited and full of emotions.”

“I was like you don’t have to say you sing gospel, just say you are saved. I told her I think you are just excited and full of emotions.”

According to Wahu, her decision had come about after she got saved and was excited to share the news with her fans. She even went ahead to release her first gospel song, Sifa, in 2017. 2 years later, her second gospel song, Nifanane nawe won her the first groove awards trophy.

Nameless explains further

On Saturday, the father of two took to Instagram to explain what he really meant, seeing as he had been misjudged due to his comments.

In his Instagram story, he explained that he didn’t mean what the blogs were saying about him and that he meant something completely different.

“I just didn’t want her to call herself a gospel artist…just be an artist and avoid judgement from some people. So you can sing whatever inspires you at different stages of your life,” wrote the musician.

The couple has tried to keep their life off the media but it seems as though their decision to shoot their reality show is bringing problems that didn’t exist in the first place.

Since the two tied the knot in 2005, they have had an unproblematic marriage until now when details of their marriage are been scrutinized by the harsh public. The couple has two beautiful daughters together.
