Top musician, Nadia Mukami has shut down Bahati in the most epic way.

On Thursday, the Wanani hitmaker invited Nadia to collaborate with him on his latest album but Nadia was quick to shut him down.

Nadia, famous for her hit song, Ikamate Hiyo, was clear on the terms she has before she does a collabo with any artist. According to her, she doesn’t do collabos for free and charges up to 100,000 dollars which translates to about Ksh. 10 Million.

The exchange between Bahati and Nadia comes after Nadia posted Bahati on her Instagram page thanking him for supporting a business she’s promoting.

We don’t know about you, but we think that Nadia might actually be on Bahati’s new album that is scheduled to be released on 14th June.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise seeing as Bahati has officially shifted from the Gospel industry to the secular one after his latest hit, Fikra za Bahati. The son which was in part a diss track to particular musicians in the industry showed Bahati smoking a cigar – something that Christians aren’t expected to do.

Nadia is known to have collaborated with big names in the industry such as Khaligraph, Arrow Bwoy, Fena Gitu, DJ Joe Mfalme, Sanaipei Tande and Sailors so it’s understandable for her to have such high standards.

Do you think Nadia and Bahati will make a good collabo? Well, the two have amazing vocals so it wouldn’t come as a surprise if they made a fire collabo.

At only 25 years, Nadia is the fastest rising upcoming artist in the country since her debut 3 years ago in 2017. Her big break in the music industry, however, came when she released her song "Radio Love" featuring Arrow Bwoy in February 2019. It garnered massive attention from the Kenyan media and was played on many radio and TV stations in the region. She has since been nominated for the first time in MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) this year.

Did you know that Nadia has an undergraduate degree in BBA Finance option? Yep, that’s right. Nadia has always been sharp when it comes to her books.

Though her passion had always been to do music, her parents were against the idea until they saw her on TV and decided to support her. While she recorded her first song when still in campus, she still didn’t pursue a career in music fully. She first completed school, got a job at her campus radio and later joined the music industry.
