Over the years Churchill has grown to be a household name and is celebrated by many as the father of comedy in the country, out of the many comedy giants he has discovered and nurtured through his comedy show, Churchill Show.

Here we take a look at the most Iconic comedians the father of comedy has raised.

Eric Omondi

Omondi is among the very first new generation comedians Churchill brought into the limelight. The comedian made his debut in 2010 and has since grown to become an independent comedian and content creator, adopting the name President of comedy in Africa.

Through comedy, Eric has performed alongside other heavyweights like Basket Mouth and Salvador. He has performed in places like Nigeria, the United States, Britain, and South Africa.

Although he has been doing great in comedy his life has been tied to controversies out of some of the acts he does which many think are overboard.

Mc Jessy

Mc Jessy joined Churchill show after an encounter with Churchill at Carnivore. After a few appearances, the comedian was made the host of Churchill Show sister show Churchill Raw. He has held that position for more than ten years now.

Information about his personal life is a bit scanty as he prefers to have his personal life away from the public.

In December 2021 the comedian announced that he will be joining politics vying for the South Imenti Parliamentary seat in the August 9 general elections.

MCA Tricky

MCA Tricky came to the limelight in 2016 after auditioning for the Churchill show and qualifying. His signature look of a street boy amazed many and he quickly gained fans all over the country.

After a successful run at the Churchill show Tricky has risen to become a brand, in content creation as well as getting a job as a radio show host at Milele FM.

Despite having a street boy experience and signature in his comedy, you will be surprised to learn that MCA Tricky is well learned as he recently graduated from Kenyatta University with a degree in Mechanical engineering.

The comedian has been rumored to be dating Akothee's daughter Rue baby, out of the chemistry they share on social media. That has however not been confirmed.

Mammito is one of the most popular female comedians in the country with over 1.5 million followers on Instagram.

After completing her University studies at Mt Kenya University and being unsuccessful in getting a job Mammito tried her luck at Churchill show where she was rejected several times before later being given a chance to perform.

Since getting a breakthrough at the Churchill show the comedy queen has performed in a number of countries Including Rwanda, South Africa, Botswana, and Swaziland. She is dating fellow comedian Eddie Butita.

Eddie Butita
