Deputy President William Ruto’s daughter is finally off the market. June Ruto, pictured above, (photo/courtesy) is the DP’s first-born daughter and today he tied the knot to her Nigerian boyfriend, Alexander Ezenagu.
The ceremony happened today at the DP’S home weeks after the family had a traditional engagement party, still at the DP’s home.
In the African setting, the groom is the one who hosts the wedding, but in June Ruto’s case, things were a little bit different. The bride hosted the wedding.
The wedding commenced at 11.30 am, as sources revealed and the people who were present were there based on invites only.
Alexander Ezenagu works as an assistant law professor. He has an LLB from a Univerity in Nigeria and had previously graduated from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
June Ruto is a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Diplomacy from USIU, United States International University, Nairobi, Kenya. Currently, she works in Poland at Kenyan Embassy.
From the photos, it looked the event was full of joy and happiness to the family of the Deputy President. Deputy President William Ruto as seen in the photos has an ear-to-ear smile, he couldn’t be any prouder! What more would a father want from life apart from seeing his own daughter walk down the aisle?
The two exchanged vows at a private wedding in the DP’s home in Karen, Nairobi. Only a few close friends were able to witness this amazing ceremony. A reception later followed where the guests ate to their fill.
The Deputy President earlier attended the national prayer day then made his way to his daughter’s big day.
From the photos, you can see the different colors of outfits. Clearly, the guests went all the way just to look good for this special event.
The theme of the wedding was rose however, different guests decided to mix and match and play around with different colors.
June, the bride, wore a simple strapless white gown. She had beautiful jewelry and of course, a bouquet of flowers.
The groom on the other hand had a navy blue suit and paired it with a bow tie and a nice pair of leather shoes. He looked sharp!
The Deputy President wore a cutaway and had a fedora hat, what a cool DP! He had black shoes perfectly giving us the 90s vibes.
