The media personality has also posted a video celebrating the graduation on his Insta stories. Larry has graduated with a Masters's degree in Business and Economics Journalism.
In his post, Larry has also indicated that he completed it two years ago but the graduation ceremony had been delayed for two years due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
"My in-person graduation from Columbia was delayed by 2 years but it was still special. I came back to New York to confirm that my master’s in Business & Economics Journalism was real. It is & they haven’t changed their minds," he wrote.
Fans and friends who had missed him greatly have rushed to congratulate him on the achievement and wish him well.
This was the first post Larry has made in more than three months and it had his fans wondering where he has been. The journalist has however been appearing in his friends' social media posts occasionally sometimes in the gym and other times doing hiking.
It is however not the first time the Media personality had gone missing in action on his social media. Interestingly though, every time he goes missing he makes a come back with some new achievements and some good news.
In 2019 he took a two-month break from social media and on returning, the international journalist revealed that while away he was able to learn 72 new languages as well as build a house.
It also appears that being away from the chains of social media is something he enjoys, as he also said that he had planned to take a 30 days break but he ended up going for 60 days.
When he went missing in action in February fans even started making memes about him saying that he was hiding to avoid being sent to report on the war happening in Ukraine.
The journalist who started his career here in Kenya at the Standard media group as an intern has risen up the ranks over time as his career led him to work for a media house in South Africa for a few years. He later returned and started working with the Nation Media group.
While at the Nation Media Group, he helped to launch The Trend which to date is among the largest entertainment shows in the country.
His star kept rising as he went on to work with The BBC with the highlight of his time at the media House being him covering the 2020 US presidential elections, the Covid 19 pandemic and the Black lives matter demonstrations that were occasioned by the murder of George Floyd a black American.
Larry moved to CNN in 2021 and going by his latest post on his Linkedin page, the journalist has just completed one year working with the international media house
