CEO of Bold Network Africa, Makena Njeri, has finally set the record saying that the CEO of Marini Naturals, Mitchelle Ntalami is not her wife and will soon introduce her wife to the public. Speaking to Massawe Japanni, the actress said that it is not right for people to talk about things they are not really sure about. The Gay activist said people should not really stress about her life, who is in it and who she is dating.
“Ni makosa sana kusema kwamba huyo (Michelle) ni bibi. The former BBC journalist maintained that she and Michelle are excellent friends. She said when the time is right, she will introduce her wife to the public.
“We are very very good friends and if you go to my Instagram, you will find that I have posted so many people. I live my life very openly. If it comes a time when I will need to introduce my wife publicly, I will,”
Rumours for the longest time have it that Makena and Michelle are dating. From posting each other on social media with lovey-dovey captions, fans were convinced that the two are indeed dating. The two normally post suggestive photos with suggestive captions like:
What a way to wrap up 2020! I take this last day, last few hours, last moments of the year to say thank you! Thank you for your love, thank you for your courage , thank you for your truth, thank you for your friendship and thank you for your pure soul. The universe has taken so many years and months to decide what we are for each other but today I stand tall acknowledging that our love and friendship is enough to define us, nothing else matters.
In a separate interview, Mitchelle said she prefers dating men.
When asked about her journey and how things have been since she came out, Makena said:
Nimekuja to be able kuchange the way people think the people look at life. So even me here looking at Radio stations kamaRadio Jambo, You Massawe, you are doing this helping and changing conversations. Fo sure, kwangu ni hakuna woga lakini let us have conversations how they are supposed to be heard.
The reason why nilisimama kwenye TED Talk and said this si my truth is the first time I took power back na nikasema sasa mimi nitawaambia story yangu jinsi inavyofaa.
Kila mtu ako within their rights, that is why niko within my rights kusema my truth.
