Gengetone music is still receiving some hate despite the many steps it has made in the right direction.

Well, not only is the music genre detested by many but also its artistes and Parroty Vunulu knows this perfectly well after facing discrimination, first hand.

The Gengetone musician on Thursday, October 29, took to Instagram to call out Kiss 100 FM for chasing him away despite having invited him and his group for an interview.

According to Parroty, Kiss 100 had invited him, Kabagazy and Mejja for an interview on the aforementioned date to promote their new collabo Lewa.

Well, the star arrived at the Kiss FM studios accompanied by Kabagazy with Mejja conspicuously missing.

Parroty held the producer blatantly told them they do not recognize them but Mejja.

‘’I can't believe our Kenyan media are still discriminating 254 Artistes. Just imagine Kiss 100 Kenya called us for a radio interview today 8:45am only to get there with Itskabagazi and Oneboy_01 and the Producer told us that they only want Mejjagenge ati Sisi hawatutambui. Very disappointed by Kiss Fm. Kidole cha Kati 🖕🖕’’ Parroty wrote.

His post attracted mixed reactions from Kenyans with many condemning the station for pulling such a backward move.
