As Usher would sing, “It’s been fifty-leven days, umpteen hours,” since we last saw Nzula Makosi on our screens or heard her voice on the radio.

A year on and there are no signs of Nzula returning to radio and this has caused angst among her fans who have been asking when she is coming back. However, we have some bad news, not anytime soon. In a post seen by Kelebrity, Nzula disclosed that she needed a breather from the media.

“Guys haki I've answered this question mpaka nimechokaa 😭😭I left the media. I needed a break. I'm doing business. Check out my hustle here Amara Couture
,” she shared.

Exit from Radio

On March 9th, 2018, Nzula Makosi hang up her mic on Milele FM. She hosted the Milele Drive show alongside comedian Cleophas Awinja aka Otoyo. Before that, she hosted the ‘Bangaiza’ show alongside Allan Wakori.

Announcing her exit a day before, Nzula wrote, “Tomorrow’s show will be my last at Milele FM. I have decided to take up other challenges. Thank you for your love, support, and encouragement. It’s not the end of the road for me on radio it’s the beginning of a new CHAPTER. Thank you and God bless.”

In September 2018, she joined the Switch TV ‘Let’s Chat’ panel but a few months later Nzula was out.

“So this week is my last on #ChatSpot. I have been trying to find the right words for this post for the past month but there's no easy way to say this... It's time for me to move on with other projects that need my undivided attention. Thank you for the love and support you've given me so far... So now let's make the best out of the remaining days,” read part of her post.

“I have decided to take up other challenges. Thank you for the love, support and encouragement. It's not the end of the road for me it's the beginning of a new CHAPTER. Thank you and God bless," Nzula went on to add.
