BET Award winner and Grammy-nominated Ghanaian musician, Stonebwoy, is back with another sure fire album, Anloga Junction which features the likes of Diamond Platnumz and American star Keri Hilson.

He explains why it took him three years to come out with another album since his last album was in 2017.

"It takes a lot of time for me, that's why the last album was three years ago and this one is now,"

He adds that for him this was the perfect time to release the album.

"This for me is a perfect time. I couldn't have waited any longer or probably done it any quicker, however, it is just God's time that's how I believe in things. Look and behold it's conceding with the corona times and still made progress because it’s the right time and nothing can stop it," says Stonebwoy.

Stonebwoy preaches unity among African artists hence his collaborations with many African artists on his album.

"Unifying our sounds and eventually unifying one another as Africans on the continent. Africans and the West unifying sounds, the culture, the diaspora, different cultures and different values. When you pick up the songs you find the different types of things that I’m saying as the concept of songs,"

He adds that is "why this album is directed to the fact that our roots are very important. We have to identify the roots of predecessors who have had to fight the cause to get to this point for us to be enjoying international presence".

Stonebwoy says that African artists are now entering into spaces where they would have never thought they would enter.

"It’s a beautiful time to be alive right now to have come this far and be a part of the names that will be mentioned when African music and its diverse effects come to play."

Africa month means a lot to the musician as he says this is a time where we "have to recognise admit, understand and go back to our roots".

"Unity of African artists means a lot and will mean a lot to the growth of the whole continent because we are the voices of the masses".

Stonebwoy's Anloga Junction is available for streaming or download on all major digital platforms.
