Media personality Betty Kyallo says she is nowhere near to getting married. In an interview with a local radio station, Betty said she still has goals she intends to achieve before remarrying.

The mother of one admitted that being a wife is not an easy role after she divorced the father of her daughter Dennis Okari.

"Mi nakaa kuwa wife material? Hiyo maneno ilinishinda kabisa, acha ningangane kiviangu. I canโ€™t be a housewife and just sit there. I also have things I want to achieve."

She further spoke on why she did not appear in Eric Omondi's scripted Reality TV show dubbed "Wife Material". According to Betty the contestants are younger than her and their dance moves intimidated her. She further acknowledged that although she watches the reality tv show she would not be a part of it.

"Eric is my friend and I watched the show, but do you see how those girls dance? I do not know how to twerk. I also have a job to go to, a kid to take care of, so acha ningangane kiviangu."

Eric Omondi announced the comeback of his reality TV show Wife Material but with some changes made after production was shut down by the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB). He said the show is only meant for people over 21 years and it is not a family show. Yesterday the comedian called out parents who want him to take up the position of a role model.

"By now I assume that everybody understands that #WifeMaterial is clearly not a family show. We have all understood the show by now. As we prepare to bring back #WifeMaterial2 it is important to clearly state that this show is PG RATED. Please prepare and take note accordingly๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š," Eric said.

He had earlier called out parents who are against the return of 'Wife Material' stating that he is not tasked with the job of being a role model for younger kids. Omondi is set to resume his reality show in hopes of getting a wife from East African countries.

"Why would I be your child's role model? I don't even have a CV. How do you leave your child to me?" Eric posed. "Parents, please love me, laugh at my jokes, but do not leave your children for me to model and to parent."

The comedian was arrested by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) alongside contestants following an outcry on social media by Kenyans. His arrest was also seen as an opportunity by Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) Chief Executive Officer Ezekiel Mutua to reign in on content he deems dirty and immoral.

Kenyans also questioned why Mutua was overly invested in what content Eric shared on his social media platforms since KFCB only regulates broadcasters and not social media.

"He was arrested for violating the provisions of the Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222 of the Laws of Kenya by producing and distributing unauthorized films dubbed "Wife Material," the moral cop said.
