Ben Githae, a well-known Kikuyu musician in Kenya, has denied allegations that he and other gospel artists in the Mount Kenya region have formed a WhatsApp group to raise funds for the legal fees of Dj Fatxo, a suspect in a recent case. The accusations were made by blogger Mathiora, who claimed that the artists were supporting Dj Fatxo financially.

The case involves the death of a 23-year-old man, Geoffrey Mwathi Ngugi, who died under unclear circumstances at the home of Dj Fatxo. Following the news report, many Kenyans called for an investigation into the matter.

In response, Ben Githae has distanced himself from Dj Fatxo and the allegations, stating that he and his colleagues are not part of any WhatsApp group raising funds for the suspect's legal defense.

As the controversy continued to simmer, Dj Fatxo spoke out through his lawyer, stating that he is willing to cooperate with the authorities to ensure that justice is served for Jeff. The lawyer also confirmed that Dj Fatxo has not refused any police summons related to the investigation.
However, reports from another Kikuyu blogger, Martha Mwihaki Hinga, suggest that there may be an effort to shield Dj Fatxo from prosecution due to his connections. Hinga's claims have only added to the controversy surrounding the case, which has already led to Dj Fatxo losing several endorsement deals and facing a public backlash.

While the exact circumstances of Jeff's death are still under investigation, some rumors suggest that it may have been a love story gone wrong.

The police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the night in question, which reportedly shows Dj Fatxo and three women entering the building where Jeff was staying, before leaving at 4 am. Jeff was left with two other men before he fell from the upper floor of the building.

The family of the deceased has maintained that Jeff was murdered inside Dj Fatxo's house and then thrown from the top floor to make it look like suicide.

Despite these allegations, the police have not yet confirmed the cause of Jeff's death.
