 People mourn differently, it takes others more time to heal than others. As far as grief is concerned Anerlisa knows the pain too well. After the loss of her sister Tecra in May this year, Anerlisa and her family have been going through unimaginable heartbreak.

Tecra passed away from an alleged accident in Lamu where she was living with her boyfriend. It is alleged that she fell down a flight of stairs.

Six months down the line, no concrete answers have been found concerning her death. Anerlisa took to Instagram to express how she misses her soulmate and the ways she is trying to cope with the loss.

In her own way, she sees that looking, sounding, and being like her sister will help her family heal. It may seem weird to want to look like a deceased person but then again, we cannot judge how she decides to mourn and deal with her grief.

She added;

Your exit from the stage in your prime has forced me to reflect on the meaning of life and the lives of other phenomenal figures who left early, who like you, living their lives fully and with a burning urgency to accomplish a mission. now it is clear to me why you kept pushing us to do it now and do it today.

Anerlisa’s family who are owners of Keroche breweries, have expressed their pain and are figuring ways to cope. They had been hit by numerous tax evasion allegations, with the taxman claiming Keroche breweries owed them Sh14.5 billion. They had been charged with fraud for posting incorrect statements on excise duty by reducing the company’s tax liability between February 20, 2015, and July 20, 2019.

The largest amount allegedly reduced was Sh3.6 billion for the period between January and December 2017. In March they lost the court battle after the Tax Appeal Tribunal allowed Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to slap a tax demand of Sh9 billion on the Naivasha-based brewer.
