Everything and anything can now be found online thanks to technological advancements. People are now earning millions of dollars from the convenience of their own homes, which is a trend we applaud. You no longer need to leave the house to suit your necessities. If you need food, Uber Eats is available; if you need clothes, there are numerous online stores; if you need amusement, Netflix is there; and if you need to learn something, Google and, of course, YouTube are available. With a reliable internet connection and an internet-enabled gadget, there is nothing that can't be done.

As you can expect, the video streaming platform has grown tremendously, and content creators are almost certain to attract a fan base  who will watch their content and become their audience and fans. All of this is contingent on their ability to educate, entertain, and solve their problems. We've created a list of Nigerian celebrities that have mastered the skill of using YouTube not only to entertain but also to make money.

Mark Angel

Mark Angel is without a doubt Nigeria's richest Youtuber, with over 8.1 million subscribers. After multiple failed attempts to break into the Nollywood scene, the comedian began making his own content in 2013. The actor is known for his short, relatable skits that keep audiences in stitches. He frequently performs with his niece, Emmanuella. Mark Angel's  humour has opened doors for him, earning him countless accolades and multi million dollar corporate collaborations. With millions of followers on social media, we're confident that his YouTube channel, Mark Angel Comedy, will make you chuckle.

Dimma Umeh

Dimma is a beauty and lifestyle blogger who traded in her pen for a camera, and it has paid off handsomely. The content creator not only dazzles viewers with her immaculate makeup looks, but she also brings them along on her lavish excursions and gives honest product reviews. Dimma has carved up quite a name for herself in such a short time and has been invited by Youtube to represent her country on multiple occasions. We highly recommend checking out her channel.

Mr Macaroni

Debo Adedayo, best known by his stage name Mr Macaroni, is another name on our list. With his 'sugar daddy' character, the comedian catapulted to stardom in 2018 and has been on the rise ever since.

Toke Makinwa

With her Youtube channel, media star Toke Makinwa grabs the next slot on our list. With her content, the former radio show presenter takes a unique approach, offering relationship advice, short comedic skits, and hosting other celebs for one-on-one Q&A sessions.

Shaggi Broda

Last but not least, we have Samuel Animashaun Perry, a.k.a. Broda Shaggi, another comedian. The 23-year-old actor's routines are based on a person navigating the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Nigeria. His work is nothing short of brilliant.
