Sauti Sol has revealed that their previously suggested collaboration with African Giant, Burna Boy is still on the cards. The quartet recently released their smash-hit new project, Midnight Train, and fans of the group were surprised that the joint track was not on the album.

One tweep that was so bothered about not having a taste of the Kenya meets Nigeria collaboration took the matter to their timeline to ask what happened to the collaboration. The tweep that is clearly a fan pointed out that the group already provided hit joint hit when they released Afrikan Star, featuring Burna Boy, so how could they deprive us of that kind of magic.

The group explained that the follow-up to Afrikan Star is done already, but the song was not meant for their album but for Burna Boy’s upcoming project.

It is great to see Africans Unite and continue to produce pan-African jams for all of Africa to dance too.
