Otile Brown Confirms Breakup From Ethiopian Beauty

Singer Otile Brown has revealed that he and his Ethiopian girlfriend Nabyet have officially called it quits. 


Otile took to his Instagram account to reveal the news to the world. He noted that the two of them are no longer together. 


The two had earlier on in the year been spotted together in Kenya. Otile noted that when they were together at the time they were trying to discuss the way forward about their relationship. He noted that they decided to go their separate ways. 

The singer noted that Nabbi (as she is popularly known) is an amazing person and he respects her (what a mature breakup). The two had had ups and downs in their relationship, and they had unfollowed each other on social media, which was an obvious indication that they were having problems.


They had been in a long-distance relationship for several years, and one would think they could have made it work given that they had survived being separated by oceans. They met while Nabayet was on vacation in Kenya prior to returning to Australia to finish her studies.

We all expected her to return to Kenya after finishing her studies, much like Otile Brown, but she instead traveled to Ethiopia. Nabayet and Otile Brown put their love on hiatus for a while before the Kenyan crooner determined to track her down and win her back, which he did.


Throughout this, he was accused of attempting to sleep with random girls while on tour, with one such lady eventually outing him while he was on tour in Germany.

Despite this, they reconciled, and Nabayet even paid a visit to Otile in Nairobi in April 2021. As a result, we were taken aback when Otile disclosed that the two are no longer together.

What could have gone wrong? What prompted them to call it quits? Isn't it interesting that the artists who have written some of the most successful love songs have also written some of the shortest love stories?
