Michelle Ntalami, the head of Marini Naturals and has a large and loyal following fanbase.

In the last year, she has been in the news a lot because of her great relationship with Makena Njeri. The two have such a great friendship so much so that some attach some romantic notions to them.

Maybe they do that now because Makena recently outed herself as being gay but that doesn't account for the speculation back before she did it.

But I digress. This article isn't about Makena and Ntalami's relationship, this is about Michelle's state of mind at the moment.

The beautiful chocolate-skinned Ntalami made a post of note on her Instagram page yesterday, that showed how real she can be.

In a deeply personal post, Michelle spoke on what she had been going through lately and even how celebrities have issues that they deal with.

As personalities, we are always so quick to share our joys and wins, but sometimes some realness and vulnerability is also good. It shows others that we are human too, and we also have our down and dark moments. And this is what life is about; both the ups and the downs.

Ntalami went on to speak about her mental health, confessing that she had been having a tough time of it recently.
My mental and emotional state haven’t been in the best place lately. Yes, even for me it’s hard to constantly keep a brave face and a strong heart when you feel empty inside. And sometimes that’s exactly what you need to do; feel, heal and learn from the pain.

She finished her message by encouraging all her fans and followers, telling them that they weren't alone and that the season would eventually pass
So to everyone going through it right now, it may feel like it, but you are not alone. For starters, we are together. And you’ve got people out there who truly love and adore you, and the world needs you back to yourself. But most importantly, you’ve got you. Hold on, it’s always darkest before dawn. You will feel, heal and learn from it. And your heart will soon be full again.
Her message is timely considering how mental health has become a big issue for our modern generation. Many people are afraid to seek help for issues like depression, suicidal ideation that they think will get them ostracised.

So when a celeb like Michelle can speak on it, it can help with increasing the stigma about seeking help and solutions.
