Carrol Sonie Shares Video Of Keilah's First Steps

Carrol Sonie's daughter Keilah is growing up fast! The 1-year-old took some of her very first steps – and mommy was there to capture it all on camera.

The Instagram influencer shared a video of her 1-year-old daughter slowly walking on her own today to her Instagram stories.

In the clip, Keilah, wearing a denim dungaree, makes her way towards her mom in a carpeted hallway. Sonie captions the cute video saying, "Huyu ameanza usanii mapema." After taking a few steps forward for the camera, a tired Keilah then reverts back to form, crawling the rest of the way as her mommy bursts out laughing off screen while encouraging her to stand back up.

Keilah, who Carrol Sonie shares with ex Mulamwah, turned 1 on September 18. An ugly spat occurred between the two exes on the day of Keilah's birthday aas Sonie reiterated to Mulamwah that she is hers and hers alone. Sonie had accused Mulamwah, who had previously denied being the father, of being a deadbeat and not contributing in anyway to raising Keilah.

It all boiled over on Keilah's birthday as Mulamwah and Sonie took to social media to celebrate their daughter with a lot of kind words.

The comedian had this to say, "Happy birthday rainbow baby Kalamwah. To many more years of growth and good health. We will one day meet and talk once you have a brain of your own.

However, Mulamwah did not let the moment pass before airing their dirty linen in public. He also had a few words for the mother of his daughter. 

“Thank You Mama K for raising her well, just make it easier to co-parent, let's not have happy pictures online with sad realities, and don’t use the kid as bait for social media likes, validation, and monetary gains. A baby is not a job,” the comedian wrote.

Kenyans have for a long time been subjected to the unending conflict and cold war between Mulamwah and the baby mama, a lot of times dragging the one-year-old into their drama.

So after the accusations of using their child for monetary gains and making parenting difficult, Carrol has finally responded to her ex. Carrol says that she has never denied Mulamwah any access to his child as he claims. She further says that Keilah is already a brand on her own, and anything she does serves to benefit her. Keilah has already won her first endorsement deal in Mombasa.
