Although she was already dating as her divorce proceedings continued, Anerlisa now hints that she may be newly single. Anerlisa had been seeing a guy called Melvin Ibrahim most of the last two years ever since her split from Tanzanian singer Ben Pol.

Dancehall musician Dufla Diligon prove he is ready to give up anything and everything to win the heart of Anerlisa- even his precious dreadlocks which he had groomed for over six years.
Dufla posted a video of his big chop and revealed he did it only because that was what Anerlisa wanted. He even threw in a slow neo-soul love song as a soundtrack to the video, saying that she's giving Anerlisa "her flowers".
