Eunice Wanjiku Njoki known by her stage name, Mammito has shared a few intimated details about her life before the fame.

The Churchill comic divulged deep into her childhood to share the poor state her home was in when she was growing up, her inspirations, the journey to stardom and not having a father in her life.

“I began my comedy career when I was 22.  I used to mimic the late Mzee Ojwang’s cry every time my mother gave me a beating,”

“I was raised in hardship. I had to leave high school for a while because my school fee was not paid. I remember going home to find my mother crying because she did not have enough money to pay my school fees.”

Mammito never got to meet her father and fortunately she has never felt the gap because her mother stepped up to the play and fully took on both roles diligently. ‘’ I don’t feel the gap of not having him in my life. I wouldn’t like to bother my mum by asking her about him. Maybe they had issues and that’s why they are not together.”

More respect to the comedian for soldiering on through the tough times and making it to the destination of her comedy dreams.
