If you are an avid social media user, like myself, I am sure you have noticed how Kenyan celebrities and influencers have been getting trolled for not knowing how to dress for special occasions.

According to many netizens, those who were invited for the Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin launch at The Social House in Nairobi on Friday, May 27 did not look the part and ended up embarrassing Kenyans in front of the whole world.

Perhaps that explains why the celebrities and influencers who attended the L'Oreal Paris high tea launch event at Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club on Saturday, May 28 brought their A-game.

I don't know much about fashion but by simply looking at photos which were taken at the L'Oreal event, anyone can tell that the invitees looked the part.

Here are some of the best looks from the event in no particular order.

Pearls and Loaf  - popular Instagram influencer and entrepreneur Sheila Beneredette, alias Pearls and Loaf, looked stunning  in her simple yet elegant dress.

Judy Nyawira and Wixx Mangutha - Judy and Wixx definitely understood the assignment, especially the latter who wore a double breasted long sleeve blazer dress.

Shely Sophisticated
- just like her name, Shely had a sophisticated look for the L’Oreal event (depending on who you ask). Anyway, she looked like a million bucks.

Maureen Bandari -

Jackie Matubia - the popular actress looked as cute as a button. Pregnant ladies can learn a tip or two from her on how to fashionably dress a baby bump. It doesn't have to be boring.

- I don’t know about you but I think Maureen, who is also known as Koku, had a classy look. To add to that, she knows how to accessorize.

Kate Actress - people who attended the L’Oreal event said Kate turned many heads and you can see why, can’t you? She looks like she has come straight out of a movie. Absolutely gorgeous.

Sarah Hassan and Anita Nderu
- Sarah and Anita looked lovely from head to toe.  If you are a lady and you are looking for inspiration for the next fashion event then you should borrow a leaf from these two.

Joyce Maina
- if fabulous was a person, it would definitely be Joyce. The former Chatspot host looked very smart and decent. She definitely killed it.
