Jeff Koinange and Victoria Rubadiri are two of the most celebrated TV personalities in Kenya. Their individual unique ways of presenting news and interviewing guest are what satisfies their fans. Who said news have to be boring? Not these two.

Well, the two have a show on Citizen TV titled Sunday Night Live which I'm sure everyone knows about. They are known to end every Sunday Night Live show with something witty and creative, mostly from Jeff Koinange's side. This always gets people talking. If you get the chance to view some of Jeff Koinange's behind-the-scenes videos, you'll get to know that he is one of the most hilarious news anchors that we have in Kenya.

A day ago, right after our very own long distance runner Eliud Kipchoge won the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympic Games, Kenyans all over the world celebrated and hailed the man. Having won the Olympics consecutively, this was a very proud moment for Eliud Kipchoge and fellow Kenyans as he brings the gold medal home.

Jeff Koinange and Victoria Rubadiri decided to honor the long distance marathon runner, by dedicating a tribute to the Olympic gold medal winner. They actually decided to dance together, on the podium, right after their news presentation and I have to say, that was really awesome. Good to see some light side of some of these TV personalities sometimes and this was a hell of a show. What a nice way to send a tribute to our Kenyan hero.

Eliud Kipchoge came first in the Men's Marathon Finals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games making him the third man in the entire world  to win consecutive marathon titles. Eliud Kipchoge finished the race at one minute 20 seconds ahead of runner-up Abdi Nageeye of the Netherlands, who finished just ahead of Belgium’s Bashir Abdi.
"I think I have fulfilled the legacy by winning the marathon for the second time, back-to-back. I hope now to help inspire the next generation. It means a lot to me, especially at this hard time. Last year was postponed, and now it has happened," Eliud Kipchoge commented right after his win as fans celebrated him from all over the world.
This is yet another win for Kenya as our athletes continue to dominate in almost all of the Olympics that we have had so far, with more to come and conquer. Thank you Eliud Kipchoge. Thank you sir!
