Socialite Bridget Achieng is throwing massive shade at singer Tanasha Donna for the embarrassment and the losses she caused her.
Well if you don’t know what happened between these two lasses, let’s give you a recap. Former Nairobi Diaries cast Bridget Achieng organized and promoted an event dubbed Naifest. The event that happened on November 7th, had a great line-up of artists but some of them failed to show up.
Two of the artists were Nigerian singer Reekado Banks and Kenyan songstress Tanasha Donna. Reekado said he failed to come through because Bridget and her team had not paid him the deposit they had agreed on.
Tanasha on the other hand did not give an explanation as to why she did not want to perform even after agreeing to do
Bridget spoke on comedian Jalas YouTube show where she revealed that her spoken ‘contract’ with Tanasha was that she performs at Naifest 2; then in return she pays for Tanasha’s flight to Nigeria; but also introduces her to some of the big people she knows.
However just a few days to the event, Bridget Achieng says Tanasha started demanding for a down payment; something they had already spoken about and agreed upon – that they would help each other as mothers.
Tanasha changed her mind as she opted for cash rather than a ticket to Nigeria and connections. This left Bridget quite bitter. She threw jabs at Tanasha saying her poor character is what led Diamond to leave her!
This is not the first time Tanasha is being accused of failing to perform on shows. A lot of event organizers have referred to her as lazy, indecisive and petty.
During her own EP launch in January, the singer failed to deliver. Her performance failed to impress the attendees. Many criticised her poor performance saying that although she looked good and the band was great her voice did not live up to expectations as she was struggling to sing on the podium.
On her Instagram, the 24-year-old addressed why she did not wow the crowd, claiming she only had two days to rehearse for her own EP launch. In conclusion, it is clear this lady is not serious with her career.
Notably, her then boyfriend and music superstar Diamond Platnumz with whom she shares a son Naseeb Junior was missing in action at the event. Maybe he knew just how bad it would be.
