Samidoh and Karen Nyamu
Nairobi Senetarial seat aspirant Karen Nyamu has revealed that she is currently on maternity leave following the birth of her newborn daughter called Njeri.

Karen made this revelation on one of her more recent Instagram posts in which she reveals that she is leaving her senatorial campaign in the hands of her team while she takes a small break aimed at her bonding with her newborn baby.

She further noted that her child is beautiful and in good health (which we loved to hear) and that she was experiencing that “new mother bliss” even though Njeri is her third-born child. She went on to praise her team further noting that they are amazing, and it seems she trusts them completely as she has given them the permission to represent her.

Among her team members is her baby daddy, Samidoh’s, sister-in-law. It was revealed that Samidoh’s sister-in-law and Karen Nyamu worked together when Karen recently shared some images of her campaign noting that she had just held a consultative meeting with her team from all Nairobi wards. Well, from the images one of Edgar Obare’s students identified one of the ladies in the images as Samidoh’s sister-in-law.

That’s right, the student noted that their mother was in attendance at the meeting and the lady who is the wife to Samidoh’s older brother, introduced herself as Karen Nyamu’s in-law. It’s clear that she will be choosing Karen when election time comes.

For their first task, while Karen is resting, team Nyamu took to  Roysambu constituency to distribute umbrellas to small-scale traders in Zimmerman and Githurai. This was revealed via Karen’s Instagram whereby she shared images from the above-named locations as her team held their own without their leader.

Going against Samidoh's wife

This move by Samidoh's sister-in-law seems to be going against his wife's wishes. Edday (Samidoh's wife) had made it clear that she is not in support of Karen's run for office as she stole her husband away from her.

decided to hit Karen Nyamu where it hurts.  Without mentioning her love rival, Karen Nyamu,  Edith took to her Instagram to give her thoughts on who she considers the right candidate to take up the major government job. She posted a photo of her preferred candidate for the whole world to see.
Edith endorsed Julie Kabogo from the Chama Cha Kazi party and noted in her caption that she was her choice. Fans quickly took note of the subliminal message aimed at Karen and proceeded to give their thoughts on the issue.
