Kamene Goro's stint at the Kiss 100 seat finished yesterday. And on Monday, her replacement Sheila Kwamboka aka Kwambox will take the reins of the morning show alongside Oga Obinna.

Incredibly, Kwambox was unveiled by Radio Africa as the new host even before it was publicly announced that Kamene was leaving. And Kamene has admitted that she herself was not made aware of that particular plan.

Talking on her last day at Kiss 100, Kamene finally opened up about her relationship with the ex Big Brother Africa contestant. Keeping it classy, Kamene had nothing but good things to say about her successor.

"Sheila is a great lady, I've known her for a while. She's also very seasoned in the industry. And I'm sure she'll do an amazing, amazing job. Yeah, mi sina ubaya na Sheila- and I'm happy for her. I'm wishing her all the best, you know. Shine!"

Hours after her last show, Popular radio presenter Kamene Goro finally came out to highlight to his fans the main reason why she is leaving Kiss 100’s morning show.

Kamene who has hosted the show for a longer period compared to all of her three previous co-hosts, that is Youtuber Andrew Kibe, Member of National Assembly Felix Oduor alias Jalango and her latest co-host Obinna, stated that the station made the decision not to renew her contract.

Rumors on the ground were that Kamene Goro had been sacked because of absenteeism, allegations that she denied and set the record straight.

Speaking in a public interview, Kamene stated that she is now concentrating on building her brand and taking some time off to rest. She, however, stated that she would be back on radio soon.

Reports earlier in the year were that there were also other reasons why her contract was not renewed. One of these is that because of the eroding show ratings over time, advertisers have stopped employing radio advertising and Second, of course, there had been persistent reports that she hadn't been performing well at work, frequently failing to complete her tasks.

Kamene in her last words ranked her previous co-hosts from best to worst and not surprisingly mentioned Jalango and Obinna among the best while throwing Andrew Kibe under the carpet.

She, however, stated that she had nothing against Andrew Kibe. Her only problem was Kibe’s new found tact of dragging her name through the mud for YouTube views.
