Kenyans have reacted to Sakaja's announcement of the Nairobi festival on the 12th of December this year.

Sakaja made the announcement days after being sworn in as Nairobi's governor, he claimed that the festival was in honor of the city's vibe.

The feast aims at bringing together food, the arts, matatu art awards, and exhibitions on designated city streets. In December, he said, "we will designate some streets to display culture, food, and creativity. We will also have the nganya awards for the best-done matatus, as well as tournaments for rugby, football, and basketball.

Some have attempted to discredit his revelation by claiming it was a misplaced priority. They contended that Nairobi City faced more urgent issues that required attention.

"Huyu governor anafocus on nonessentials. We want to hear about the one license policy, garbage collection, and an end to Kanjo harassment of business owners." One fan said.

"What is it?? How will it look like? How I wish he would announce Garbage free Day, Pollution free day, A day for the street vendors, A jua Kali sector day, focus on priorities, parties will lead you into big problems." Said Esemele a twitter user.

"Of all the clowns Nairobi as elected this is worse than sonko,...Nairobi is dirty, the hospital is no concern again, and let's not talk about the status of our markets and the first thing you think of the festival?" Brian lamented.

Some suggested that he was trying to be fun for the young generation. Sakaja appears to be fun and his swearing-in was one to be remembered.

'Jioni tupatane Sabina Joy'- KoT Hilariously Roast Governor Sakaja For His Recent Video (Video)
Kenyans on Twitter have gone wild after a video of Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja playing guitar in church emerged.

The newly elected governor was attending a church service at AIC church in Embakasi where he joined the choir and took the bass guitar, leaving the church beaming as a result.

Since Dr. William Ruto, Kenya's newly elected president revealed to be a devout person and began using the religion manifesto, the country's citizens have been concerned about the religion issue.
Kenyans are now publicly labeling them as hypocrites and distorting God's teachings after appearing to get weary of the phrase. Here are some of the reactions of KoT.

Sakaja's swearing was monumental as he got to introduce his wife and kids to the world.
