Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai is mourning the death of her friend from campus. In a post, she made on her Insta stories Anerlisa says Sonia was her best friend in the University of Buckingham.
“I really can’t believe you are gone for real. Sonia was my best friend at the University of Buckingham. We spoke weekly despite her living in Nigeria,” she wrote.
She goes on to narrate that Sonia died in an accident," Honestly this one, I did not expect. Accidents rob us, people, the wrong way.” in honor of her friend's memory, Anerlisa posts a photo of her friend remembering how she organized a birthday surprise while they were back in the university. She explains that Sonia was more than her friend and more of a family as they used to talk on a weekly basis despite her being in Nigeria and Anerlisa in Kenya.
Even Sonia's parents welcomed Anerlisa like a daughter,“She was family and her whole family welcomed me as their daughter. This is one friend I’ll forever mourn.”
Two years ago Anerlisa lost another person who was very dear to her under mysterious circumstances. That person was her younger sister by the name of Tecra.
Tecra was fiancé to controversial Mobasa resident OImar Lari . But things didn't end well as she died in mysterious circumstances. Tecra met her death while she and Omar were still dating and as it would have been expected, he was the main suspect in an investigation.
According to a report done by The Daily Nation, three doctors revealed that the cause of Tecra’s death was that she was hit by a blunt object. However, Omar had said earlier that Tecra fell from the stairs as she was drunk. Emily Adhiambo Rogena who is among the top pathologist in Kenya revealed that the cause of Tecra’s death was caused by a blunt object.
Eric Cheruiyot, a former (KDF) officer, who worked for Tecra said that he never saw peace between the two for the nine months he worked for her. He said that confrontations between the two were common and that Lali would retreat to a solitary table, staying alone for many hours while Tecra would join his friends for business engagements that annoyed him. “I asked the house help why Lali was crying then she told me he had been kicked out of the Naivasha residence of Tecra,” Mr Cheruiyot testified.
Although the case against him was dropped, the Keroche family wasn't convinced and set up an inquest into the death.
"By the way shit I’ll never get over is my sister’s death because I am sure VERY SURE she DID NOT fall on the staircase. One thing people are not aware is that she was broken the hardest bone in a human body. That bone can only be broken by 2 things. 1.Serious car accident 2.Somebody using an object on you," wrote Anerlisa.
We hope that she will find comfort in her friend's death as well as that of her sister.
