Popular radio station Capital FM has lost yet another star, amidst a prolonged talent exodus. We can now confirm that Amina Abdi, who for a long time co-hosted alongside Fareek Khimani has left for greener pastures.

The gorgeous media personality also hosts The Trend on NTV, apart from being an events MC and the voice of Coke Studio Africa. She is truly a go-getter. Amina ranks among the top media personalities in Kenya, alongside Jalang'o, Willis Raburu, DJ Mo, Tanasha Donna, and Mbusi.

What has been apparent about her departure is due to the fact that she has deleted all Capital FM related content from her social. A while back, it is worth noting that she had clashed with Khimani on-air regarding a huge salary difference between them.

Amina had found Khimani’s salary slip laying around, and she was shocked to find out that he earns way more than her. The two had a spat on-air and the heavy exchange of words went down the history of radio in Kenya.

That being said, the reason behind Amina’s departure hasn’t been established. She hasn’t even told fans that she left; the mother of one did it quietly. Only her former co-host Khimani delivered the news to fans of their show.

“Amina Abdi will not be returning and I will be joined soon by a new co-host. She has gone to do big and better things,” he said.
The media personality follows the likes of Sharon Mundia, Miano Muchiri, Susan Wong, and Laura Walubengo who have left the radio station in the past two years. Where do you think she is headed?
