When Mammito joined Mt. Kenya University, her ambition was to join a non-governmental organization which is why she enrolled on community development and social work.

Growing up in the slums of Kibera, she used to be part of different sensitization groups that went around the community to talk to people about different issues.

After graduation, Eunice Mammito, just like any other young graduate went in search of work, unsuccessfully.

She then turned to comedy which was something familiar as she grew up listening to a comedy show with her mum. Mammito auditioned for 'Churchill Show' several times unsuccessfully.

Her jokes were good but she lacked confidence and didn’t command the stage. After her failures, she was ready to move to Thika and do mitumba business when she gave the auditions one last try. Guess what? She got in.

Mammito’s child

Both denied the claims as Butitia said that they would make it public should they expect a child. On her part, Mammito said that her protruding stomach was a result of being full as she had just taken lunch.

But that was not enough as social media posts from Butita kept the rumour mill going. He posted a picture on his Instagram page in what looked like a baby shower and captioned it “It’s a human”.

Why else would you use those three words if you aren’t expecting a child? This led people to believe that Mammito was indeed carrying his child, claims he later denied.

The only wedding Mammito talked about was the Royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during her on-stage performance on Churchill Show. In 2019, Mammito was on the government radar after she shot a video with fellow comedian Eric Omondi and MC Antonio in Kenya Scouts Association uniform. The video was done to depict how the Mau Mau fought a day before the Mashujaa celebrations.

The Chief Commissioner of KSA Victor Radido did not ‘get the joke’. He stated that Mammito and Co misused the uniform and painted KSA as an armed militia. He directed the trio to issue an apology.

Whilst Mammito did not speak on the matter, Eric Omondi opined they were misunderstood. He explained that the skit was a celebration of the country and its people.

Is it over?

Word has it that Mammito’s relationship with Eddie Butita could be over after the latter failed to send birthday wishes via her social media accounts.

Further, Mammito unfollowed Butita on Instagram a day later, an action that raised eyebrows.

Mammito has always had a message for him on his birthday. When questioned, Butita neither confirmed nor denied anything.

Unnecessary comments?

In 2020, Mammito found herself on the wrong end of the debate after she said that controversial blogger Edgar Obare should use his blog to expose corrupt politicians instead of “destroying marriages.”

This came after “The Tea Master” posted screenshots of DJ Mo’s chat with an unnamed woman as evidence he was cheating.

Social media fired back and suggested that Mammito should heed her own words and use her own platform to expose corruption.

No Panties

Mammito caused a stir when she admitted that she does not like wearing panties. She attributed this to the fact that they make her sweat. She made the comments on Diamond Platnumz’s Wasafi FM when she was in Tanzania for business
