Jackie Matubia whose full name is Jacqueline Mwangi Matubia was born in Kawangware, Nairobi. 

Her exact date of birth remains unknown although we know that she is 32 years old as was widely reported during her birthday in September. 

Jackie is the firstborn in a family of three. Not much is known about her biological siblings. A lot has been reported about her sister, that is Millie Chebby, but the two are not biologically related. 

That said, she revealed that her childhood wasn’t smooth. Her parents separated and her mother remarried but was not able to raise her because she couldn’t settle in her mother’s new family.

According to an anonymous source who spoke to Edgar Obare, Jackie asked for interior design help - specifically upgrading her backyard. 

After the services were offered at a total cost of Ksh 102,000, she was to pay half and give them a mention.

However, she credited a different company which is where the problems arose. The business owner reportedly tried to solve the issue amicably but things didn’t work out. He called her out on social media and asked her to pull down the post,

In response, Jackie threatened legal action much to the anger of online users. 

Breakup with Lung’aho

After their engagement and the birth of their child, rumours made around that Blessing Lung’aho and Jackie Matubia allegedly broke up.

These unverified reports came about after the actress was spotted without her engagement ring and attended an event unaccompanied.
