Konde Boy whose real name is Rajab Abdul Kahali was born on 15 March 1991. He also goes by the nicknames Jeshi, Tembo and Mbunge.
Harmonize comes from a humble background in Chitoholi village, Mtwara, Tanzania.
Despite the hardships, he always had the belief that his fortunes might change someday. He tried his hand at football and hawking before he got into music.
“I used to sell water in Tanzania. Even when I started focusing on music, it took me two years to create a name for myself. I also worked as a hawker. At some point, I felt God had not planned for me to become a musician. There was a time I almost gave up in life, but my mother kept encouraging me to continue pressing on,” Harmonize told a local publication.
