World-acclaimed South African DJ and Producer Black Coffee is coming to Kenya, and we couldn't be any more excited about this!

The most awaited #BlackCoffeeinKenya music concert will also be graced by an all-star Kenyan line-up from the electronic music scene, such as Blinky Bill, Foozak, Saint Evo, DJ Vidza, Jahawi Bertolli, OneDown, Xan Woods, Chucky, Kelele Kollective and Buddha Blaze.
Tall, dark, witty and talented, Black Coffee is notably known for attempting to set a DJ world record in 2010, for playing for over 60 hours non-stop, putting him in the spotlight as one of the best house DJs to watch out for.
South African born and raised, the DJ grew up surrounded by music, and his influence he says, was his uncle’s extensive reggae collection. Almost as intriguing as his talent, is the fact that Black Coffee spins with only one hand!
How so, you wonder?
Well the superstar seriously injured his left arm as a teenager from an accident with a taxi driver during a political unrest on get this - the exact day former South African President Nelson Mandela was released from Prison!
When asked by Comedian Trevor Noah on what has catapulted his career to such great storms, from South Africa to the world, Black Coffee claims to have three reasons; Resilience, Hunger and Working from the ground up!
What sets him apart even further is that he took the 'African mellow /soulful sound' and pushed it out to the world, a challenge that not most African DJs have been capable of.
From performing at Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium, to Ibiza in Spain, the BET Award winner for ‘Best African Act’ will mark this event as his second act in Kenya. His earlier performance was in 2014, previously organized by Kenya Nights and Electrafrique.
