As Nairobi prepares to welcome globally-acclaimed, South African DJ and Producer, Black Coffee, for his much anticipated Muze Open Air Concert, it’s been revealed by the event host, Club Muze, that the VIP tickets have already been sold out.

Some more good news about the Black Coffee event, which is set to be held at the Ngong Racecourse on Sunday, 7th November,  fans have been given more time with their favorite DJ. According to Club Muze, the event which was slated to start from 10 AM to 8 PM is now set to start at 2 PM until late.

The Black Coffee music concert will also be graced by an all-star Kenyan line-up from the electronic music scene, such as Blinky Bill, Foozak, Saint Evo, DJ Vidza, Jahawi Bertolli, OneDown, Xan Woods, Chucky, Kelele Kollective, and Buddha Blaze.

Tall, dark, witty, and talented, Black Coffee is notably known for attempting to set a DJ world record in 2010, for playing for over 60 hours non-stop, putting him in the spotlight as one of the best house DJs to watch out for.


South African born and raised, the DJ grew up surrounded by music, and his influence he says was his uncle’s extensive reggae collection. Almost as intriguing as his talent, is the fact that Black Coffee spins with only one hand!

How so, you wonder?

Well, the superstar seriously injured his left arm as a teenager from an accident with a taxi driver during political unrest on get this - the exact day former South African President Nelson Mandela was released from Prison!
